Seattle drops anchor as NHL Hometown Remix jerseys arrive
Photo: Seattle Kraken / NHLThe hockey sweater conversation just got a lot more colourful. The NHL and Fanatics have introduced Hometown Remix, a special-edition uniform collection built around the cities and communities behind the teams.
Our five-look gallery starts in Seattle. The Kraken put an anchor on the chest, with the familiar S shifting to the shoulders.
Then the mood changes completely: Anaheim pairs green with purple and gold; Florida goes for coral, yellow and orange; Edmonton brings black with orange accents; and Buffalo puts its goathead crest in blue and gold.
That contrast is the fun of a jersey reveal. A crest, a stripe or a colour combination can completely change the feel of a familiar team. Put these five side by side and there is plenty to debate before anyone takes the ice.
