Seattle’s home fireworks coincided with the final U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter flyby after the anthem in a Bears-Seahawks game that ended 34-17.
The Story
The Chicago Bears beat the Seattle Seahawks 34-17 on Monday Night Football to close Week 8 of the NFL season.
Seattle managed only three yards a play, as the Seahawks’ offence struggled while the Bears’ defence made an early impact.
After the national anthem, four U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters flew over Lumen Field as part of the stadium flyby.
The first three helicopters cleared the stadium in formation without issue, but the last helicopter was still over the edge of the field when the home team’s pyrotechnics went off.
The only pilot knows how close the fireworks came to the helicopter, but video from multiple angles makes it appear “really, really close.”
