The Vancouver Urban Food Forest (VUFF) says it is hosting a Halloween pet costume block party at Burrard View Park Fieldhouse in East Vancouver on Saturday, Oct. 24.
In a VUFF post promoting the event, the group said, “All beings are welcome to come in costume.”
VUFF said there will be free refreshments, prizes and a photo booth for people who “can sit, stay and be good long enough for a quick snap,” along with treats for both humans and pets.
The event is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. at Burrard View Park, 545 North Slocan St., and admission is free.
VUFF said there will be prizes for best-dressed pets.
