Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters his team is still “a championship caliber team” after a 20-3 primetime win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Story
The Seattle Seahawks rebounded in Week 7 with a primetime victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, winning 20-3 at Lumen Field.
The Seahawks held the Chiefs without a touchdown, handing Kansas City its first loss of the year, and moved to a 4-3 record after starting the season at 3-3 heading into the week.
Following the game, head coach Mike Macdonald spoke to reporters about what the performance meant for his team, saying, “I think this game reminds the guys what we're capable of. We're still a championship caliber team. That's what we're chasing.”
Jaxon Smith-Njigba led Seattle’s offensive effort with nine catches for 150 yards and a touchdown as the Seahawks dominated both sides of the ball.
Seattle now turns its attention to a Week 8 matchup against the Chicago Bears this coming Sunday.
