The Story
The NBA Canada Series returns to Vancouver at Rogers Arena on Saturday, Oct. 10, when the Toronto Raptors take on the LA Clippers in a preseason game. The matchup will mark the seventh NBA Canada Series game played at Rogers Arena since 2014, according to event information.
The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at Rogers Arena, 800 Griffiths Way. Tickets have been largely sold out, with the cheapest resale tickets reported at about $230 before fees, while front row resale prices were listed at more than $3,100 and unsold second-row tickets at $944.
Rogers Arena is also planning special on-site fan items, including a hiking raptor T-shirt available at the arena. For people not attending the game, there will be a giveaway “somewhere along the seawall” in Stanley Park, described as including limited edition hats and snacks.
For getting around, TransLink had no notable alerts listed for the SeaBus or SkyTrain at the time of publication. The event site also notes that the arena is a smoke-free zone, bags must fit within 35 cm by 35 cm by 15 cm, and items such as skateboards, selfie sticks and outside food and drinks should be left at home.
Rogers Arena is cashless, accepting major digital payments including debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Fan service is available by text at 604-765-3267 (FANS); attendees are instructed to include their issue and their location, including their section, row and seat number, to get help.
