The Richmond Night Market says it will hold a first-come, first-served closing sale on Oct. 2 and Oct. 3 at its River Road site.

The Richmond Night Market is hosting a garage sale this weekend following the market’s closure, including items such as dragon silk lanterns, inflatables, LED displays and the T-Rex statue.
The night market posted that, as it comes to a close, it is releasing more of its event decorations and inventory for sale.
The sale runs on Friday, Oct. 2, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the night market site at 8351 River Rd.
Items will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, the market said.
Marketing representative Jojo Wu said many items have already been sold and that the organizers are expecting a large turnout after receiving many inquiries since the announcement.
The Richmond Night Market’s lease on the property has come to an end, resulting in the market’s closure, according to a previously reported account included in the coverage.
A release quoted the market saying the weekend is “one last chance to take a little piece of the Richmond Night Market home” and added, “We hope to see you there!”
