Jazz Aviation flight attendants ratify five-year labour agreement

Jazz Aviation LP says its flight attendants have ratified a new five-year labour agreement in Halifax.

The Story

Jazz Aviation LP says flight attendants have ratified a new five-year labour agreement, following a tentative deal reached with the union in September. In Halifax, the company said the agreement includes “industry-competitive wages and benefits,” but it did not provide further details.

The move comes after Jazz Aviation reached tentative contract terms last month, when flight attendants had voted to strike if a deal could not be reached.

Jazz Aviation LP is a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Inc. and operates Air Canada Express flights for Air Canada to 65 destinations across North America. The Canadian Flight Attendant Union represents 865 flight attendants at Jazz Aviation.
