RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify a man alleged to have used a fake bank draft in a vehicle sale.
The Story
RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit says police were called to a home in the Fleetwood neighbourhood on Sept. 22 at about 9:18 a.m. after the victim reported an alleged fraud.
The victim told RCMP SPOSU that the suspect had attended his residence the evening before to purchase his black 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Police say the victim alleges he was given a fake bank draft and shown fake identification in connection with the sale.
RCMP SPOSU describes the suspect as a man about 30 years old, approximately 5-foot-eight with a medium build, wearing a green shirt and black pants.
