Seahawks list Cross, Shaheed, Velus Jones Jr. among four players not participating on Thursday’s Week 8 report

Seattle’s first injury report of the week for its Bears matchup lists four players as non-participants and 10 as limited.

The Story

The Seahawks’ first injury report of the week ahead of their Week 8 game against the Bears lists four players as non-participants due to injury, including three who exited Seattle’s win over the Chiefs last weekend.

Left tackle Charles Cross (ankle), receiver Rashid Shaheed (knee) and running back Velus Jones Jr. (hamstring) were among those not participating on Thursday. Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (ankle) was also listed as a non-participant, and receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was noted as being given a rest day.

Ten Seahawks players were listed as limited, with DeMarcus Lawrence limited for rest. Among those on the limited list were running back Jadarian Price (chest), who returned to practice from injured reserve this week, along with linebackers Drake Thomas (ankle) and Chazz Surratt (calf), both of whom have missed multiple games.

Defensive tackle Leonard Williams was added to this week’s injury report as limited with an Achilles injury. Full participation was recorded for running back Zach Charbonnet (knee), guard Quenton Nelson (knee) and fullback Brady Russell (wrist).

On the Bears side, Chicago did not practice Thursday, leaving its report as an estimation. Running back Kyle Monangai was listed as a non-participant with thumb and toe injuries, while linebacker D’Marco Jackson (ankle) and cornerback Malik Muhammad (toe) were listed as limited. Full participation was listed for linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring) and linebacker Jack Sanborn (concussion).
