Free Spirit Soirée returns to Vancouver with non-alcoholic wine, beer and cocktail tastings

The Free Spirit Soirée returns to Vancouver on Monday, Nov. 30 at The Pleasant, featuring tastings from more than 40 non-alcoholic drink producers.

The Story

The Free Spirit Soirée is returning to Vancouver on Monday, Nov. 30, organizers say, with a casual, walk-around tasting experience at The Pleasant (2434 Main St.).

The event will feature pours from more than 40 producers of non-alcoholic wine, beer and cocktails, with rotating snacks prepared by Burdock & Co.

Organizers say Burdock & Co. will be joined in the kitchens by The Acorn and Dachi.

Highlights on the drink menu include “Provence-style rosés from the Languedoc's Domaine de Montrose, Burgundian botanical wonders from Domaine des Grottes, an exclusive biodynamic gem from cult-favourite Austrian winery Gut Oggau, stylish fizz from Copenhagen's Arensbak, and expressive refreshments from Creek & Gully's Naramata orchards, right in our own backyard,” according to organizers.

For people planning to take favourites home, mocktails will be available at a shop on site.

The event is priced at $48 and includes tasting of all products.
