The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a Class II recall for two seafood products sold across Canada because mustard was not declared on the labels.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a nationwide recall of two shrimp products sold in Canada after the agency identified undeclared mustard.
CFIA is asking consumers to “not use, sell, serve or distribute” the affected items.
The recall includes SeaQuest brand Shrimp Ring with Mild Cocktail Sauce (454 g). Its UPC is 0 60383 18047 8, and the product codes include best before dates of 2026 NO 05, 2026 NO 06, 2026 NO 26, 2026 NO 27, 2027 MR 04, 2027 AL 27, 2027 MA 07, 2027 JN 10, 2027 JN 11, and 2027 JN 15, as well as 2027 JL 13.
The recall also includes President’s Choice brand Black Tiger Shrimp with Mild Cocktail Sauce (568 g). Its UPC is 0 60383 18048 5, with best before codes listed as 2026 OC 06 and 2026 OC 07.
According to the CFIA notice, the recall is classified as Class II, meaning there is a moderate risk that consuming the food may lead to short-term or non-life threatening health problems.
The notice does not mention any incidents or injuries related to consumption of the affected products.
