BC has begun its first fall without moving clocks back for Daylight Saving Time, which may affect the listed start times for multiple Canucks games.
The Story
In March, British Columbia elected not to continue Daylight Saving Time, and the province has officially begun its first fall without moving the clocks back, a change that could leave some Vancouver sports fans seeing adjusted game start times.
The impacts are expected to be most noticeable for Canucks games scheduled for national broadcast windows, where broadcast timing can result in later start times than many fans may be used to.
The Hockey News published a list of Canucks games with start times shown in PCT that may differ compared with usual, including the following matchups in November and December 2026:
November 2026: November 7 at Edmonton Oilers, 8:00 p.m. PCT; November 19 at Seattle Kraken, 7:40 p.m. PCT; and November 21 vs. Minnesota Wild, 8:00 p.m. PCT.
December 2026: December 5 vs. Dallas Stars, 8:00 p.m. PCT; December 12 at Los Angeles Kings, 8:00 p.m. PCT; December 14 at San Jose Sharks, 8:00 p.m. PCT; December 19 vs. San Jose Sharks, 8:00 p.m. PCT; December 26 at Calgary Flames, 8:00 p.m. PCT; December 28 vs. Los Angeles Kings, 7:30 p.m. PCT; and December 30 vs. Seattle Kraken, 7:30 p.m. PCT.
