Jake DeBrusk is out due to illness, with Aatu Räty projected to come in for the Canucks against the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena.
The Story
Vancouver has made lineup adjustments ahead of its first slate of back-to-back games in the 2026-27 season, starting with a Saturday-night matchup against the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena.
Goaltending is expected to feature Leevi Meriläinen in net. Earlier in the week, Meriläinen came into Thursday’s loss to the Edmonton Oilers in relief of Kevin Lankinen, stopping 10 of 11 shots he faced during his time on the ice.
On the forward lines, Jake DeBrusk has been confirmed out for Saturday’s game due to illness. Aatu Räty is projected to replace DeBrusk, lining up in the middle of Vancouver’s fourth-line between Drew O’Connor and Brendan Gallagher.
The projected Canucks lineup for the game lists Öhgren - Cotter - Boeser as the top unit, with Rossi - Pettersson - Karlsson, followed by Bains - Sasson - Lekkerimäki. The next lines are O’Connor - Räty - Gallagher, and then Buium - Hronek alongside Oleksiak - Willander. Pettersson is also shown with Schenn in the projected defensive pairing group.
For game information, the Canucks and Flames are scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. at Rogers Arena.
