Seahawks RB Jadarian Price returns to practice; coach says Monday vs Bears is realistic

Jadarian Price, sidelined on injured reserve since Week 3 with a chest and rib injury, returned to practice and Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said it is realistic for him to play Monday night against the Chicago Bears.

The Story

Jadarian Price is back on the practice field for the Seattle Seahawks after being sidelined on injured reserve since Week 3 with a chest and rib injury.

The team designated the rookie running back to return to practice from injured reserve on Thursday, and he did so.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said it is “realistic” for Price to play on Monday night against the Chicago Bears.

Price’s most recent action before his injury showed production on the ground and through the air. He rushed for 119 yards on 28 carries (4.3 yards per carry) and caught four passes for 21 yards.

Seattle selected Price with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

In college at Notre Dame, Price rushed for 1,692 yards and 21 touchdowns while playing behind No. 3 overall pick Jeremiyah Love from 2023 to 2025.

The Seahawks were also dealing with the absence of running back Zach Charbonnet, who was working his way back from a torn ACL when Price was injured.
