Vancouver advances voting: 27,748 ballots cast on day three as turnout tops 74,000

City of Vancouver officials say 27,748 people voted across the city on the third day of advance voting, bringing the total to more than 74,000.

The Story

Advance voting in Vancouver began Oct. 3, 2026, and officials say another record-high number of people cast ballots on Saturday, the third day of advance voting.

On Oct. 11, 27,748 people voted across Vancouver, which the city says is double the number from the third day of advance voting in 2022.

In a social media update, the city said advance voter turnout has surpassed total advance voting in 2022, noting “With more than 74,000 advance voters so far this election, turnout has surpassed total advance voting in 2022.”

The city also said voters reported quick visits to voting places, describing it as an easy way to stop in and vote while continuing weekend plans.

Officials say the final day of advance voting is Tuesday, Oct. 13, with election day set for Oct. 17.
