President Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday afternoon that he has offered UFC CEO Dana White the job of White House press secretary.
The Story
President Trump said Saturday afternoon that he has “offered” UFC CEO Dana White the job of White House press secretary.
In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote: “I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States.”
Trump also said he requested that White bring “assistants,” listing UFC figures “of Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris.”
The post indicated the offer has not yet been accepted by White. Trump added: “We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left. Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job!”
The announcement came hours after Trump nominated Stephen Miller to be his new White House chief of staff.
