Bed Bath & Beyond is relaunching in Canada with an online store after shutting its 54 stores in 2023, under new ownership by Sleep Country Canada.

Bed Bath & Beyond has returned to Canada, with the home retailer launching an online store on Tuesday morning after exiting the market in 2023.
The company shut all 54 of its Canadian stores in 2023 following significant losses, and it is now owned and operated by Sleep Country Canada.
For in-person shopping, the company is not planning physical store openings until late 2027, and it has not said how many locations it intends to open.
The new Canadian online store is tailored for the market and offers around 6,000 products from more than 80 brands, including Umbra, Brunelli, Meyer Cookware, and the Canadian Down & Feather Company.
Categories include bed, bath, kitchen, dining, decor, organization, baby, and seasonal items.
Carol Deacon, president at Bed Bath & Beyond Canada, said the company has “taken what people know and love about the brand and given them new reasons to discover it, with a thoughtful assortment that brings together style, function, and accessibility,” adding that the return “isn’t about looking backward.”
