One More Scoop has opened at 1939 Cornwall Ave. near Kitsilano Beach, selling soft serve, scoops, sundaes and pints.
The Story
One More Scoop has opened near Kitsilano Beach at 1939 Cornwall Ave., just steps from its sibling spot, Kits Beach Coffee.
In a social media post, the shop said it wanted to “bring back a little of that classic ice cream shop nostalgia and create a place that feels fun, familiar and happy,” adding: “Nothing too serious. Just good ice cream, soft serve, sundaes and pints in a little shop by the beach.”
The menu includes soft serve in vanilla and chocolate, plus a twist, as well as regular scoops and rotating flavours, including vegan options.
The shop also offers a rainy day deal: guests who order a single or double scoop get one more scoop “on us,” according to a post from One More Scoop.
Kits Beach Coffee opened at 1945 Cornwall Ave. in 2022, and a post from the coffee shop said that while it was busy making coffee and baking treats, it was also working on a new business “just a few doors down.”
Before the ice cream shop opened, 1939 Cornwall was home to Bakery by Jany, which moved in January to the Skript Kitchen and has since changed its model to include online ordering/pick-up and wholesale sales.
