Penticton RCMP arrest 27-year-old in investigation into Sept. 11 alleged robbery

Penticton RCMP say their Investigative Services Team arrested a 27-year-old in connection with an alleged robbery reported to have occurred on Sept. 11.

The Story

Penticton RCMP say their Investigative Services Team made an arrest as part of an investigation into an alleged robbery that occurred on Sept. 11.

Police arrested 27-year-old Tryce Bowman, of Penticton, on Oct. 2.

Bowman has been charged with robbery, assault with a weapon and disguise with intent, and is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

In late September, Penticton RCMP asked for information from witnesses who were in the area of Main Street and White Avenue at the time of the incident.

RCMP said they are still looking for the driver of a silver Ford Taurus that was in the area and may have information about the robbery.
