Sting is scheduled to perform in Vancouver on Monday, Oct. 5, and Tuesday, Oct. 6, as part of a fall tour kickoff at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, 630 Hamilton St. The all-ages show starts at 8 p.m. both nights, with Dominic Miller and Chris Maas listed as supporting performers.
The Vancouver Convention Centre hosts the Oddities & Curiosities Expo this weekend, with the show running from Saturday, Oct. 10, to Sunday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is at 1055 Canada Pl, with tickets listed at $20 plus fees.
In Fort Langley, the 31st annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival returns on Saturday, Oct. 10, with activities running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fort Langley Village. Admission is free, and the listing says the festival includes 125 vendors and more than 15 food trucks.
Music lovers can catch the Vancouver International Music Competition’s final events on Oct. 9 to 11, with the final round on Friday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the VSO School of Music. The weekend continues with masterclasses at Tom Lee Music from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, followed by a gala concert and awards ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre.
Fall seasonal attractions also continue during the broader period. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park will host Canyon Frights from Oct. 9 to Nov. 1, 2026, with listed hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and extended hours on select dates. The event is at 3735 Capilano Rd., North Vancouver.
For a Halloween-themed dining option, Notch8 is launching its Haunted Cellar Afternoon Tea with dates listed from now until Nov. 1, 2026. The location is 900 W Georgia St., Vancouver, with pricing listed at $75 per adult and $40 per child.
