Raptors release B.C. hiking-themed merch ahead of preseason game vs. Clippers at Rogers Arena

The Toronto Raptors will introduce B.C.-themed hiking merchandise for their Oct. 10 preseason game in Vancouver and hold a Stanley Park Seawall giveaway the day before.

The Story

The Toronto Raptors have unveiled Vancouver-specific merchandise tied to British Columbia’s hiking trails as part of their NBA Canada Games preseason schedule, with a stop in Vancouver ahead of the 2026-27 season. The team will play the Los Angeles Clippers on October 10 at 3:30 p.m. PT at Rogers Arena.

The Raptors’ new design features the club’s raptor character dressed for the outdoors, including a backpack and walking stick, described as a nod to B.C.’s scenic hiking trails. The team had previously announced poutine-themed merch for its Quebec City game; Vancouver’s release follows that earlier announcement as part of the same Canada-wide preseason plan.

In the lead-up to game day, the Raptors said they will stage a special Seawall giveaway at Stanley Park the day before the matchup. The activation is scheduled for October 9, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., inviting fans to follow “in the footsteps of the Raptor” and complete a portion of the Seawall Loop.

The Raptors said the activation begins with free Raptors-inspired trail mix from Vancouver’s Cabin5 at the start of the walking portion. Participants who complete the designated section of the loop are eligible to receive a collectible Raptors cap upon completion, with caps available while supplies last.

Along with the Stanley Park event, the Raptors also plan to offer limited merchandise on game day. The team said its logo will be available on a limited-edition T-shirt at Rogers Arena on October 10.

Rogers Arena will host the Raptors for a historic reason beyond the standard preseason schedule. The Oct. 10 game will mark the seventh time Toronto has played at Rogers Arena since the Vancouver Grizzlies left the NHL in 2001, and it will be the eighth time the NBA has held a preseason game in Vancouver.

The matchup also carries additional storylines for local fans and the broader NBA audience. The Raptors’ current roster includes Kawhi Leonard, and the game is described as potentially his first against his former team, as the Clippers traded him to Toronto earlier this summer. That trade was delayed by an NBA investigation, according to the information provided.

The Raptors’ preseason visit comes after a prior indication of demand for the franchise in Vancouver: a Raptors vs. Denver Nuggets preseason game last year reportedly sold out Rogers Arena. With the league’s ongoing Canadian slate and the club’s B.C.-themed fan experience, the Raptors’ Vancouver stop is positioned as both an on-court preseason event and a local merchandising and community activation.
